The Blog really is just for me to blow off some steam in the same way the celebrity worshippers (and the media) can promote their view of the world in such a way that if I watch/listen to the news, or dare look at the magazine shelf, I get involuntarily washed over by their veritable flood of unwanted cack. I don't really want to start off dialogues either, BUT I'm loathe to turn comments off altogether, since that makes me a censor, unwilling to allow the views of others. I can't win, can I? Oh crumbs, two comments – I don’t know what to do cos I didn’t really expect any.

Whatever she gets up to and whatever the Daily Mail wishes to say about her - well I couldn't give a flying bollock. I mean seeing someone unwinding before our eyes is quite honestly very, very boring. Van Gough? Well, I enjoy his work but he's also part of the art establishment and so automatically becomes untouchable. If I am totally honest, and I can only be honest, if he were unknown and i saw, say, Sunflowers, I don't know what my immediate feelings would be. But I don't claim to know a lot about art. Anyway, I don't think Winehouse is comparable with the other celebs on your blog who see no artistic value in anything unless it's splashed across TV Quick and have no discernable talent whatsoever apart from stupidity and greed.
