Footballer on 120mph speed charge
Reported by the BBC, it ooks like another filthy arrogant footballer has discovered that they might not be the exalted god that their ridiculous pay packet makes them think they are, and we’ll have to wait for a while to see if he can find someone to share his ill-gotten gains with, and see if he can get himself off these charges for putting us ordinary folk at risk.
Like all these dangerous, pig-headed wasters, there shouldn’t be any option of having the case continued, or of any other such right being accorded to them for this sort of behaviour, and it should be straight off to jail if the police present evidence – especially for 120 mph.
God knows how fast he was actually travelling, as it’s usual for a lesser speed to be quoted on the chrage, so they can’t pay their lawyer to claim they were travelling slower than the recorded speed and that the equipment and method were inaccurate in such a way as to influence the result – he was probably really doing closer to 130 or even 140 mph.
An Aberdeen footballer has appeared in court charged with driving dangerously at speeds of up to 120mph.
Lee Miller, of Perth, made no plea to the charge when he appeared at Stonehaven Sheriff Court.
It is alleged Mr Miller drove at speeds of up to 120mph in a 70mph zone on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road on 30 March.
It is also alleged he drove at up to 90mph in a 40mph zone. The case was continued until October.
